Privacy policy

Information on how we process personal data under the GDPR.

1. Controller

The controller of your personal data is Master Meat Sp. z o.o., ul. Wojska Polskiego 48, 85-825 Bydgoszcz, Poland, VAT PL9532796458 ("Master Meat", "we").

Contact for data protection matters: biuro@mastermeat.pl or by post to our registered office.

2. Where your data comes from

  • From forms on mastermeat.pl (price & availability request, contact, B2B inquiry) – you provide it yourself.
  • From e-mail correspondence and business conversations.
  • Business contact details of company representatives (name, job title, business e-mail and phone, company) may also come from publicly available sources and B2B contact databases (e.g. Apollo.io), from your employer or a colleague.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Consent to marketing e-mails is separate and optional, and you can withdraw it at any time (e.g. by writing to biuro@mastermeat.pl). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

4. What data we process

From the request form: company name, e-mail, quantity, delivery country and place, product or industry and – if you provide them – contact person, phone, required date, certificates and specification. We also record the form language, the page the request was sent from, the date and the IP address (security, spam protection).

5. Recipients

Only to the extent needed for the given purpose:

  • IT service providers acting on our behalf: website, e-mail and database hosting (home.pl S.A.), e-mail outreach tool (Smartlead), B2B contact database (Apollo.io), website statistics and tags (Google Ireland Ltd. – Google Analytics / Tag Manager, only with consent given in the cookie banner);
  • certified partner plants, suppliers and carriers – where needed to prepare an offer, quote transport or fulfil an order;
  • our accounting office, legal and tax advisers;
  • public authorities, where required by law.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers (Google, Smartlead, Apollo.io) may process data in the United States. Transfers are based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission. You can obtain a copy of the safeguards by writing to biuro@mastermeat.pl.

7. How long we keep data

  • Requests that did not lead to a contract – up to 2 years from the last contact.
  • Contract and order data – for the duration of cooperation and then until claims become time-barred.
  • Invoices and accounting records – 5 years from the end of the year in which the tax payment deadline expired.
  • Data processed on the basis of consent – until consent is withdrawn.
  • Data processed on the basis of legitimate interest – until an effective objection.
  • Cookies – according to your cookie settings (Google Analytics data up to 14 months).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify and erase it, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest – in particular to direct marketing (we will then stop processing your data for that purpose). You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland) or with the supervisory authority in your country.

9. Is providing data required?

Providing data is voluntary. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed for us to answer your request and prepare an offer – without them we cannot do so.

10. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.

11. Cookies

You can change your settings at any time by clicking "Change cookie settings" in the website footer. Necessary cookies are always active; analytics, marketing and personalisation cookies only with your consent.
