• human grade cubes and portions – for premium treats and toppers with a food-grade quality declaration,
• fish meals – as a protein component in dry food; protein and fat parameters according to the batch specification,
• salmon oil – as a functional additive for pet food and treats.

• physicochemical parameters – protein, fat and moisture should be assessed according to the specification of the specific batch,
• raw material form – block, filling, mince, meal or oil should match the customer’s technological process,
• frozen supply chain – the transport and storage of frozen raw materials require maintaining the temperature regime,
• packaging – the industrial format should be matched to the line and dosing method,
• order and logistics terms – agreed individually upon inquiry, depending on the product and batch.

Typical cooperation scenario (illustrative example – this is not a case study of a specific customer):

A BARF diet manufacturer buys whole fish and carries out its own processing at the plant, which complicates process planning, generates Category 3 raw material on the customer’s side, and makes it more difficult to maintain a repeatable mixture profile. After formulation tests, the manufacturer switches to ready-made salmon filling blocks with a declared batch status. As a result, the mixture composition is based on the raw material specification, and the scope of documentation for the supplied raw material is assigned to the batch from the supplier.
