Product description

Atlantic cod mince is made from meat obtained from trimmings, fins and fish backbones. The meat is mechanically separated from bones and remaining skin. The product is packed and frozen on the day of production.

The raw material is Atlantic cod Gadus morhua sourced from FAO 27 and FAO 21 fishing areas. The mince has a light grey colour and an evenly ground structure. After thawing, it retains a consistency suitable for forming.

Why choose this product from Master Meat?

The product has a uniform structure suitable for mixing and forming. The frozen block format facilitates storage and dosing of the raw material in production plants.

  • Produced on the same day - separation, packing and freezing take place within a single production day.
  • 10 kg block - a format adapted for handling larger batches of raw material.
  • No glaze - the product is not covered with an additional layer of ice.
  • Process control - temperature, weight and product appearance are monitored during production.
  • Pallet logistics - one pallet holds 60 packs of 10 kg each.

Use in industry and pet food production

Atlantic cod mince in a 10 kg block can be used as a fish component in the pet food industry. Its ground consistency makes it easier to combine the raw material with the other ingredients in the recipe. The product may be subjected to thawing, dosing, mixing, forming and heat treatment. The final application should be matched to the recipient's recipe and technological process.
